Liss Helps National Chain Introduce Line of Private Label Heaters

Problem

A 250 store retail home improvement chain wanted to add portable heaters to its private label program.

Solution

Liss Global identified 18 factories in the Portable Heater category which met the basic criteria, and finally settled on one factory which had the appropriate certifications, could produce at the quality required, and which had a track record of reliability. Liss also developed the packaging for the product line in an upscale box with a lifestyle packaging design, and monitored many successful revisions to the design with added product enhancements.

Results

During the first year the client chose to test one line of heaters for the program. The product was well received, exceeded sales projections and was highly profitable. The client, in partnership with Liss, decided to expand to the line to nine heaters the very next year.
